I can't wait for school tomorrow to continue on my first assignment for viedo Editing class.
Post production editor is earning much, much more than a director mind you. And it's the exact job I wanna do. So I better score at least an A out of this module.
However, I'm thinking twice after Yoke Kee showed us the video on the editing process of "24 hours". It's traumatising. Yes, very. I didn't know that dubbing and all are all included in that process.
That sound kinda bad but I'm doing more for Audio Two ok? More than Audio One.
HURHUR. Ok. I promise I'll do more tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and for the rest of the module in order to make John feel even MORE guilty. LOL.
And Elvis is being suchaaaaaa _________ (fill in the blanks). He gave me B for most of my exercises and gave me Cs for my final assignments. The contradicting part is, he said he can see my fushion between Royston's and my work and it was a good job. However, I got C for that. I seriously DON'T understand.
"Your final fusion work shows the fusions of your photography treatment and as well as Royston Tan video treatment. I hope you will continue to improve in your style and translate it into your video."
SO WHY I GOT ONLY A C+?! Ok. I should stop whinning.
I think school's pretty mundane. Tried looking for Vani but she put me aeroplane. Bahhs.
I need to watch more films. Like those of Wong Ka Wai and Lee Ang.
And more short films. I think most of us are getting to this state whereby when we pay 9.50bucks for a movie not to enjoy the movie itself but to pay more attention to the cinematography, continuity, how they transit the shots and so much more. So we can't be blamed to watch a movie more than once or twice. It's not because we're rich, just that we have to do it.
Ok. enough of all this. I'm just trying to keep myself motivated.
It's difficult to keep yourself motivated and continue the interest if you don't like what you're doing. Seriously. Looking at fellow friends around myself. I think it's really not easy.
So O level's leavers, PLEASE KNOW MORE ABOUT THE COURSE BEFORE YOU EVEN DECIDE TO JOIN.
Bye world.
