And coming home was work again. Nothing new.
I'm seriously dying from over dose of work.
Even at 5am in the morning, you can still see a handful of designer online and doing work.

TP is having holidays now. Damn happy. We have the whole school to ourself.

I'm very easily irritated nowadays.
Went TM with Yumi, Carmen and Froggy
And it rained! And I did not bring my jacket! And I was wearing FBT and freezing!
Thankfully I spent time with the 3 jokers today in school.
Finally saw Jacen after 5 days. LOL.
And we're moving out of Pivia tomorrow! Damn sad. We're leaving the moles behind. And the toilet water dripping celing and that cosy little corner. So sad.
School lounge is setting up soon.
And PcomD interview is tomorrow.
I haven't started on the questions yet. But they are standard questions right? So should be alright.

But managed to get some relax time just now to paste the postcards on the wall. Hurhur.
Just finished my mind map on Royston Tan.
So in the end, I still decided to use him instead of Christopher Columbus.
RT totally inspiring. But sad to say, I haven't got the chance to catch 881.
MLoo overslept that time and we couldn't catch the last show. Bahhs.
Speaking of RT,
As usual, his career started off by catering food for the cast, crew and director in 1993.
He did a total of 18 shorts films and is having 10 more short films storyline in his mind.
He piority is still short film and featured film is second to that.
He won a total of 51 awards.
And is also one of the Time Magazine's 20 Asian Heroes under the age of 40 and is also an "iconoclast".
His films always try to give a voice to the marginalized in the society and are usually what he thinks about the surroundings.
The storyline/story usually takes place in location or person which meant alot to him, past or present.
His works range from "emo" to humour to even musical.
Singapore censorship board keeps a close eye on him, even the MP.
A "rebel and an artistic freedom-fighter"
He said "Art that is not real is not art"
So how can I not idolize him and be inspired by him?

Friendship is such a powerful thing.

To be frank. I think I've got not much friends also.
Hmm. Let me think. When I need someone to talk to, who do I turn to?
Sheena? Ester? Jason? Buddy? Yumi? Or who else?
I think I've come to this stage whereby I stop complaining/ranting and find something to make me happy about.
I mean, when I'm angry or sad, I'll just go out with someone who can make my day (and I won't complain about unhappy stuff) or find something to do to make myself happy (eating snickers).
This is a breakthrough I tell you.
Work is such an ass. Numbed by work to feel anything. Maybe I only felt pissed these days.

Did I mentioned I cleaned and packed my room for 3 hours yesterday?
No more queen size bed. Changed back to super single.
More space to walk around, lesser space to turn around. hurhur.
Shall go shower now and back to work.

It upset me whenever I try to do my best for my work, someone out there just have to throw a pile of cold water onto me.

Or when they never listen to the lecturer and then tells me,

And then I told Elvis I wanna use Royston as my chosen subject, he told me proceed and then tells me Royston is too new in this industry to work on.
When I tell him about Royston's SUPER LONG STILL SHOT, he don't want reply me.
All in a day, within 3 hours.

Amusingly, I felt like going out to help out in production.
Learn as much as I can, gather as much experiences as they allow me to.

I was sleeping soundly when my phone started ringing and vibrating.
Did my PcomD and now I'm only left with my cover letter and portfolio.
However, for the group work, I am not very sure what Bina meant by ranking the advertisment.
So we've left it untouched since Tuesday.
No class till monday for PcomD and there's the first Vistual Class for Desti tomorrow evening.
Switching on the computer from 6-9pm and critique my friend's research work.
Super boring.
I want to intern with Royston or Kelvin Tong but somehow I couldn't find any ways to communicate with them.
Maybe I did found a way or two.
Hmm.
Anyone know does Zhao Wei Films take in intern.
I really salute those indi film makers especially Jacen Tan.
He did it with ZERO budget can.
Hmm. I think I should try it one day. Maybe during holidays.
But I need a good storyline.
I remember him saying do a storyline which you can relate it to yourself, something close to your heart.
What's close to my heart? Mushroom? Or maybe Joseph.
Siddons appraoached the other day and asked if we're interested to do a documentary for DEFA as DEFA is entering phrase 2. A good opportunity. Hopefully it'll be before I go for SIP so I can put it into my portfolio. HURHUR.
Joshua's busy travelling. He's in Hawaii now and he told me he visited Miami Ink and saw Yoji there. WTF. I Jealous.
